COD Power Group

Ecommerce operations platform · Cash on delivery

One operating picture for a COD business: what shipped, what is in transit, what was delivered or returned, how many leads the call centre confirmed, what is in stock and what has been invoiced — without stitching it together by hand.

Context

A platform for cross-border ecommerce sellers who ship cash on delivery: the buyer pays the courier at the door, so the seller carries the stock, the confirmation calls and the reconciliation.

The business problem

Cash on delivery is where ecommerce margin quietly leaks. An order is not revenue until someone confirms it by phone, the courier delivers it and the cash comes back. Sellers run that across several countries in spreadsheets and four courier dashboards — so unconfirmed leads go cold, stock counts drift, and nobody can say what is actually owed this week.

The solution

One operating picture for a COD business: what shipped, what is in transit, what was delivered or returned, how many leads the call centre confirmed, what is in stock and what has been invoiced — without stitching it together by hand.

How it works

  1. 1Seller joins as seller or affiliate
  2. 2Product sourced and stock recorded
  3. 3Order placed by the buyer
  4. 4Call centre confirms the order
  5. 5Courier ships and status syncs
  6. 6Delivered or returned
  7. 7Invoice and remittance

What was delivered

  • A marketing site presenting the service catalogue and both account models
  • An operations dashboard with shipping status across shipped, in transit, delivered and returned
  • A call-centre panel tracking total, new, confirmed and unanswered leads
  • Orders management, stock and invoicing sections
  • Sourcing requests and lead-source tracking
  • Seller and affiliate account models with separate entry paths
  • A statistics area with profit and delivery-rate charting

What exists today

  • The dashboard, service catalogue and account models are designed end to end and shown below
  • The operating model covers the whole COD chain — sourcing, confirmation, shipping, return and remittance — not just a storefront
  • Product concept: a complete platform design, not a deployed system I operate
Outcome

A complete operating picture for a cash-on-delivery business: the customer-facing service catalogue and both account models on one side, and on the other an operations console covering orders, stock, invoices, call-centre confirmations and multi-courier shipping status. The concept defines the whole COD chain — sourcing, confirmation, delivery, return, remittance — as one system ready for implementation.
