NFT Marketplace App

Mobile product concept · Marketplace & live bidding

A buying flow that stays honest under time pressure: the live price, the time left, the bid history and the next action are on the same screen, so a bid is a decision rather than a gamble.

Context

A mobile marketplace for digital collectibles: people discover collections, follow auctions that are running right now, and bid from their phone.

The business problem

A marketplace app is judged in the seconds around a bid. If the current price is stale, the countdown is hidden, or the buyer cannot see who else is bidding and what happens to their money, they close the app — and the seller loses the sale to a slower, safer platform.

The solution

A buying flow that stays honest under time pressure: the live price, the time left, the bid history and the next action are on the same screen, so a bid is a decision rather than a gamble.

How it works

  1. 1Open the app
  2. 2Onboarding
  3. 3Browse or filter collections
  4. 4Open a trending auction
  5. 5Review price, time left and bid history
  6. 6Place a bid
  7. 7Track activity

What was delivered

  • Onboarding that explains the marketplace before asking for anything
  • A home feed with trending auctions and top collections
  • Category and blockchain filters, plus a seller ranking view with price movement
  • A live auction card showing the current bid and the bidder
  • A place-bid screen with countdown, view count, item provenance and bid history
  • Wallet balance surfaced in the header
  • Three complete design directions for the same product

What exists today

  • Three complete, internally consistent design directions for the same product — shown below
  • The bidding path is designed end to end: discovery, auction, bid, history
  • Product concept: interface and product architecture, not a deployed marketplace
Outcome

A complete mobile marketplace experience in three finished design directions: onboarding, discovery with category and chain filters, a live auction with the current bid, and a place-bid screen carrying countdown, provenance and bid history. The bidding moment — where marketplace apps usually lose the buyer — is fully specified and ready to build against.
